Precision welding with flux spraying machine
In modern manufacturing, the welding process, as a key means of connecting various materials, its quality is directly related to the performance and reliability of the products.
I. Working Principle
The ultrasonic soldering agent spraying machine is mainly based on the ultrasonic spraying technology. Its working process is as follows: The 220V, 50/60Hz household electricity is converted into a high-frequency electrical signal by the ultrasonic generator, and this signal is transmitted to the piezoelectric transducer. The piezoelectric transducer utilizes the piezoelectric effect to convert the high-frequency electrical signal into mechanical energy, generating 20-120KHz high-frequency vibrations. When the soldering agent liquid flows through the outlet of the spraying tool head, under the action of the high-frequency vibrations, it is dispersed into tiny droplets. Specifically, the ultrasonic nozzle converts the high-frequency sound wave into mechanical energy, and the mechanical energy is transferred to the liquid to generate a standing wave. The liquid is introduced through the nozzle to the atomization surface. When the liquid leaves the atomization surface of the nozzle, it breaks into fine mist of uniform micron-sized liquid droplets, thereby achieving atomization. This atomization method can precisely control the size and distribution of the droplets, allowing very small droplets and particles to evaporate quickly, thereby generating particles with a high specific surface area and forming a film coating.
2.Second, significant advantages
- Enhance soldering quality: High-frequency vibration atomizes the flux into tiny particles, forming a thin and uniform coating, significantly reducing defects such as bridging and false soldering. It is particularly suitable for soldering high-density printed circuit boards, BGA, QFN and other precision components.
- Reduce material costs: Compared with traditional spraying, ultrasonic spraying has a higher utilization rate of raw materials, can save more than 40% of flux, precisely control the spraying volume, and avoid the problem of magnetic flux contact with passive equipment and chip floating.
- Green, energy-saving and highly efficient: No additional heating is required. It relies on high-frequency vibration to disperse the flux, with low energy consumption and no air pollution or wastewater generation, meeting the requirements of environmental protection production.
- Precise spraying control: By adjusting the ultrasonic frequency, power, phase and nozzle parameters, high-precision spraying is achieved to ensure consistent coating thickness and uniformity.
- Wide scene adaptability: It is applicable to fields such as electronic soldering, composite material preparation, and metal surface treatment, and performs exceptionally well in complex structure soldering as well.
- Excellent equipment performance: The ultrasonic nozzle is self-cleaning, does not clog, and has no wear on moving parts. It is made of titanium alloy with corrosion resistance. It features ultra-low flow control capability, with overspray volume reduced by 80%, and supports intermittent or continuous spraying.
With the continuous development of the manufacturing industry towards high precision, high reliability and environmental protection, ultrasonic flux spraying machines, with their significant advantages in improving welding quality, reducing costs, environmental protection and energy conservation, are bound to be widely applied in more and more fields.
