1. Technical Principle: Precise positioning welding based on acoustic energy

The ultrasonic ear-strap mask spot welding machine is based on high-frequency vibration spot welding technology. Its core process can be broken down into three major links:

Ear band positioning: The servo motor drives the conveyor belt to precisely convey the mask body to the welding station. The ear band feeding mechanism simultaneously releases the ear band material (such as spandex, polyester) and fixes the position through pneumatic fixtures.

  1. Ultrasonic welding: The ultrasonic generator generates high-frequency electrical signals ranging from 20 to 40kHz, which are converted into mechanical vibrations by the transducer. The welding head vibrates at a frequency of tens of thousands of times per second. When it comes into contact with the ear bands or the mask body, it generates local high temperatures, instantly melting the fiber molecules to achieve welding.
  2. Cutting and Detection: After the welding is completed, the built-in blade automatically cuts off the ear band, while the photoelectric sensor detects the welding strength and position. Unqualified products are automatically removed.

1. High production capacity and rapid response to demand

The welding efficiency of traditional mask ear loops is low. A single production line can only produce 50 to 80 pieces per minute, and manual labor is prone to cause unstable welding quality. After the ultrasonic spot welding machine is connected to the fully automatic production line, its production capacity is increased to 100-150 pieces per minute, with a maximum of 200,000 pieces per day. Multiple machines operating 24 hours a day can achieve a daily production capacity of over one million pieces, effectively alleviating the shortage of materials.

By precisely controlling the welding head pressure of 0.1-5kgf and the welding time of 0.1-1 second, ultrasonic spot welding keeps the ear band tension stable at 8-15N (meeting the national standard requirement of ≥8N), and the welding point error is ≤±1mm. When the tension of the ear loops of N95 masks is ≥10N, the yield rate reaches 99.8%, far exceeding the 90% of manual welding, ensuring the protective effect.
